I love the solitary tree leaning into the vast landscape.

cheers guys! (that was quick!) Paul, some labs are crap with CN films, like the photofactory always leaves this sepia/orange tone to my prints. All of these shots have been scanned in and greyscaled in photoshop. Damn their eyes!

Ya I've had orange, brown, yellow and pink tints lol...Boots and jessops are good normally (and sometimes kodak express) I scan my neg's so there's no tinting.
I believe the tint comes because the auto machines arnt calibrated to the CN films and print it wrong (its only a slight calibration)

This worked well - beautifully moody.

Hey Gary, you've gone Canonet crazy! Loving it. I've put mine aside for a bit, but this is inspiring me.
I love tree shots, especially lone trees, and this turned out great despite the lab.
Hey, if you don't want scratches and want real BW film, DIY, man! ;)

wow, this is a beautiful shot. as to the scratches, i just shot my first roll on a canonet i picked up at thrift store. no battery and the light seals were pretty much gone. i just metered off my fe2 and the mechanical shutter worked great. but several of the pictures had these scratches. i'd never had this lab scratch anything before so i just assumed it was due to the light leaks. have you checked your seals?

The seals are brand new, replaced with a pro kit :) Anyway, light leaks are very different from these regular, dark and perfectly straight lines. There are two possible causes, something rough on the film pressure plate, or something rough on the development rollers. Since the pressure plate is as mint as the camera, I would suspect the latter! The swines! :)

Wow--nice. Photoshop can take care of that scratch. Cool image.

Hi, I'm an admin for a group called Canonet Italia, and we'd love to have this added to the group!
