I'm glad you think so! The bokeh is god awful! :D The gold streaks are meant to be long grass growing in the background. Oh well.. I suppose the blurring gives a sense of movement?? :)

I like this. There is a certain lost feeling to it, like a moment that is past and can't be had again, or a memory that is not quite perfect but still vivid.

Well, I like this photo as well -- good bokeh or bad bokeh (not being up on bokeh that much) ... what I like about it is that (in spite of being technically imperfect) it has so much life, character, emotion. it's absolutely beautiful - very painterly. I'm picky about faving photos, but this one jumped out at me and held. So I'm faving it! Nice shot. I'll have ta go see your other pix now.

Interesting to see how this turned out - I took the same shot at the same time with a different camera (Olympus OM2n with a Zuiko 50mm), with completely different results. Actually I think this one is a more successful shot than mine.

ta very much jon! i really think your zuiko beat my pantacon this time! :) That's what I get for mounting a m42 on a open aperture metering body! the fujica just doesn't seem to like it! to be honest i think my eyes were on strike that day, lots of shots came out blurred!

Very picturesque. The bokeh is different indeed, but in this case not too bad. I need to try one of those pentacon lenses some day.
