Amphibian porn!

Very cool DOF effect here. Looks like the lens does vignette a bit when wide open. I like the effect though.

Hehe cheers wade, I think the vignetting is from the spot lighting directly over the frogs as opposed to the lens but I do like it! :)

Actually come to think of it I think the lens does have a bit of light loss when wide open... oh well the price of f1.4! :)

Heck even a leica Noctilux vignettes a bit, but then that's f1.0, and the bokeh on that thing is just sweet.

Speaking of f1.0, are you familiar with Tommy Oshima's stuff? He shoots the hell out of the Noctilux and they are amazing! :D

Nope, this was taken with a new takumar! Alas this one's distance strip is loose inside the lens housing >:( Oh well, at least I can use the lens...
