I read one story, of a group of female UK tourists marooned on a hotel balcony in New Orleans were signalled to by a group of cops in a rescue boat to "lift up" their T-shirts (!!yes!!): when they told the cops to "piss off": they literally did and motored away in their "rescue" boat:

*roll of eyes* typical.. mind you, according to cora, our british consulate was at best useless.. they kept on asking her if she had contacted her tour operator first when the last bars of her mobile battery was running out, and she was asking for an evacuation. Don't think Thompson holidays can land on water...

Thanks Stephen, yeah I didn't know about Cora's ordeal until she came back from holiday and I greeted her with 'so was it fun?'

The J8 is superb! Although my one has some cleaning marks on the coating and therefore tends to flare a bit in bright light.
