i`m so impress with the perfomance of this tiny winy little thing.

Do you know anything about OM1?
I`ve just bought one from ebay with some zuiko lenses (50 1.4, 28 2.8)

Oh wow you lucky git! The OM1 is a superb camera and I'm *so* jealous of the 1.4 zuiko!!! My 1.4 Takumar turned out to be fungus infested :( Oh well... my search for even faster glass continues.

Now with this i`m really broke, but anyway i wanted a 35mm f2 nikkor, but for the same price i could afford another body and 2 lenses! That´s really insane.

Anyway, i`ve heard the takumar is far the better 1.4 lens ever made.

But fungus does really affect critically the optics?

The fungus is ok if its not too advanced... in this case it's all over the place!! I'm going to send it in to get it cleaned but if the fungus has etched into the coating/glass then I might as well use it as a door stop!! Fingers crossed! :)

haha i just got a 50/1.4 Takumar w/ fungus as well! Was $15 at KEH, in UG condition........ i've been leaving it out in the sun as much as possible lately, but i also disassembled it and cleaned it as much as i knew how.
