Hehe Dom is the *nicest* guy ever, before I was always terrified by short haired football fans but he is so sound! He's Glaswegian but spent 10 years in Germany as a child hence the strange German Bavarian football jacket! :D

A while back i bought a praktica camera but the quality is appalling. Should i get myself a better lens? It is a Pentacon 50/1.8 auto. Your photo's are very good. Which lens did you use? Of course it is the photographer who makes or breaks the photo...

hey Coen, do you have any examples? bad quality could be due to a number of things for example bad exposures could be due to dodgy mechanics while flaring and softness is down to the lens. finally the film could also have something to do with it. does your pentacon 50/1.8 have fungus? are you using the light meter and is it working properly? most of my early praktica shots were also taken with the pentacon 50/1.8 which isn't a bad lens really.
