thanks earl, the lens is available in changeable m42 and nikon mounts if you can find an ebay seller selling the complete kit (mine came in a box with some filters, passport etc). however, the m42 mount is designed for zenit cameras. and the metering flange on the aperture ring means that it wouldn't fit properly on other m42 cameras (won't screw all the way in, can't change aperture), so i'm using it with the nikon mount on either my FE2 or my 350D via a nikon -> eos adapter.
