Thanks! People are always poking fun at Prakticas and how they are heavy clumps of East German metal but I think they are really underrated. This one is so nice to hold and the weight is perfect in your hands. Still, it meant I got it for *dirt* cheap! :D That lens alone was worth the money! :P

It was a Praktica that got me started in photography - a friend bought a digital compact and gave me his old MTL-3 and some lenses. I think I got the better end of the deal, 'cos his digital definitely didn't come with Zeiss lenses...

Certainly a no frills camera Takekazu! Go get yourself one from ebay, they only cost around $20!

Simon: I envy you! :P The TL2 isn't half as advanced as the MTL3.

Pentacon indeed rocks Tommy!! I can't believe what close focus I can get with this baby!!! If you going to get a practica get one above this model for the TL2 doesn't have fast shutter speeds.
