i like the "fat" blur from flektogon - this isn't a lens for a bokeh shy photogs :-D

certainly not! i usually don't like these 'donut' rings in my bokeh, preferring the creamy takumar/jupiter 9 kind, but it kinda works here and is almost dreamy in its affect :)

i took some pictures with the Nikkor 55 f/1.2 AI wide open while taking a walk in the Epping Forest and the bokeh was almost unreal - some pictures look like impressionist paintings. but when i stepped the lens up to f/2.8 the bokeh completely changed and it reminded a crazy random trail of small punctures left by a hole puncher :-)

Yeah, the donut thing can be a bit disconcerting here, but the smooth tonality in the sharp zone (i.e., the snail) is absolutely wonderful!

klevo!

Wow dude! this bokeh remind me a noctilux, it's totally different that the examples that i have seen with this lens... sure that you can obtain this bokeh with a flektogon 35 2,4 munted in a 350D? how? it's totally amazing! :D
