The centre for the history of medicine is a lot more high tec that I would have umagined. No stained scratched oak operating tables, mysterious specimen jars, or gruesome looking implements here. But a good portrait- there's a kind of zen-like calm in the midst of the chaos of office life about him.

hehe the centre is more a teaching unit while all the creepy things in jars are the responsibilities of the wellcome collection people, who are as creepy as the contents of said jars!
