such a cool building. I would love to see this some time too. It has been a long time since I went to Edinburgh. Where does the title come from? interesting that you thought it was small. Guess the budget didn't stretch very far? ;)

Nice shot Carl. This building left me totally uninspired when I saw it. Got to say, I hate it as a building, total mish-mash like a child went mad with building blocks!!

[http://www.flickr.com/photos/scottleach74/] I can see why it wouldn't be to everyones taste. It's a very bold piece of architecture to put in a traditional city such as Edinburgh. For me, it works fine.

The rear elevation however is much better than the front, which I found strange.

Check out some of Miralles other buildings... they are equally weird. The building is based on a flower by CR Macintosh - a scottish design classic - but I am quite suprised that you think the back looks better than the front!
