The reflections on the water are good, plus the moon looks ace

The tide was really high at that point last night. Only a meter or so from the top of the bank. But that made for nice reflections.
The moon I fell lucky with. It was obscured by cloud most of the time.

it would make an excellant scifi book cover

overall, i do like the image. however, i would probably try to change the angle a bit by moving the left side down to straighten it out a bit. just my opinion but still a nice shot.

i think the comp could have been slightly better, not so centralised perhaps, but its a great shot nonetheless

Sendersept, I know what you mean. I was trying to get everything in, high tide, the building, the moon, the walkway just to the left and even the tidal barrier to the far left.
It's a busy photo and in retrospect there's a bit too much going on.
Thanks for all the comments. It's appreciated.

I like the way the water looks so solid . Nice work chum

A tighter crop and levelling the horizon might help.

Excellent night shot but I agree that levelling the horizon would help.

Una bonita composición pero con poca nitidez.

Very attractive shot. In the large size it looks very blurry, but other than that and the slightly crooked horizon, I like it! :)
