Thanks, these colours aren't real, but created by 'swapping' the red and blue channels of the original infrared pic. Looks better than just simple b&w IR :)

Interesting...I thought the 350D had a built in IR block filter that made IR photography a problem? Hmmmm.

Enough bleating about the kit lens, now...you coulda bought a better lens, but, noooo, you had to sell your 300D for a 350D. :)

Yeah Canon is pretty good with their blockers hence I had to use a 5s shutter speed on a tripod in glaring light!

Anyway, I prefer my flektogon on my 350d more than the kit lens :)

the uncropped version leaves more shadows and creates a more dramatic effect me thinks. PS overall, your photos have this unique quality about them, your own stamp. love them!

I agree, but the problem is this is not a uncropped version of the other panorama but a pic taken with the kit lens at 18mm which is 28mm in 35mm eqv. Unfortunately, I had to take the panorama with my Olympus OM Zuiko 28mm which when mounted on the DSLR is roughly 40mm :( hence I lost the lovely wide angle effect...
