john: yeah but it still wasn't enough to prevent that *massive* burnout in the sky! i just use cheapo kood ones. they are not as good as lee but better than cokin i find. :)

Thanks Gary. I've not heard of Kood - will look them up. I think that you can get greater than 2 stop version but I'm not totally sure. I was in Calumet, Manchester the other day and saw the Lee starter kit. £74 I think it was - youch! cya! J. :D

yeah they are pricey alright! enough for a new prime lens almost :)
screwed up my 350D today :( now it's a manual lenses only body :( oh well... just have to get that 40D for definate now!
