Arh so you found out what it is called. I still want to know what the reason behind those grass mounds is.

I have never seen the grass. Is it new, or just round the back? I will have to go and look see...
I think it has something to do with the way wind moves around large buildings; sqaure edges an that.

I'm ashamed to say that my aftrnoon out around the marina area was the first time I've been round there in years. This is despite living in Hull all my life.

I was amazed by how much the area had changed.

This grass mound was where the old Irn Wrx pub used to stand. It was called other things like Smugglers or something like that. So this area of grass has really made the area look so much better.

What I thought was great was the concrete wave area that echoes the grassed area. Very clever.

As I've mentioned elsewhere I'm undecided about the building. I love modern stuff like this but it doesn't quite do it for me this one. I'm kind of perverse though as I like the fact it's empty so is literally just a glass box.
