yes jim. but i'm getting quite annoyed at how badly the lens seems to flare up everytime i point the camera even vaguely at the sun :-/ fungus? coating damage? or do i just need a hood? hmmmm

Hi, I'm an admin for a group called Beautiful Bokeh, and we'd love to have this added to the group!

found out the problem with the flare- there was a massive patch of oil/condensation on the element that's just after the shutter blades. so managed to take the rear elements out (came out as a group) and gave it a good clean. there seems to be slight coating damage too (fungus?) which can't be treated unfortunately. hopefully it will flare less now. ironically my much older plain mat has a brilliantly clean set of lenses :)
