james bob: ohhhhh yes the flek is boekh-tastic :) if only i can focus with it better on the eos! when wide open the plane of focus is only a few mm!

duncan: well these were just in Mugdock country park near Milngavie :) the season is just starting but we noticed a lot of eastern europeans gathering mushrooms with massive baskets, now these guys are good as they grew up with the skill! so there might be a wee shortage this year! :) and yes i shall try to get my mate to have a wee drive there ;)

Your 50mm f/1.4 lense kicked some a$$ in this shot. Love the bokeh.

arrr but that's the whole point! not the 1.4 lens, but the flek 2.4 ;) a solidly built yet little know legend in the M42 lens community!

i find this totally beautyfull; i even like the noise and the blur - i think it ads such atmosphere to the picture :)
