thanks! yeah i love my FSU cameras :) i must say the kiev is probably by far the best soviet camera I have, what with it being a contax clone, and the contaxes being originally designed for a professional level of use. the lens is just superb! sharper than any industar! (so far)

You have to love the Helios, bit faster than the J8, bit more contrasty, bit more sharp and equal in bokeh imho (offcourse bokeh is like bokeh does)

The choice between the Helios and the J8 is hard..... Since they are so close.... personally I love the Helios (its also harder to find)

aye it is that tom! :) of course most of the film was ruined by a big massive light leak! but i think i've fixed it now. most of the surviving ones were indoor shots...
