Totally agree with h2so4.
The colour rendition is amazing.
The bokeh looks quite strange. In fact, it`s the strangest bokeh I`ve ever seen. Kinda rounded huh?
Looks nice though.

very VERY round! It swirls like no bokeh I have ever seen! Usually they tend to swirl the larger the aperture, but not even my takumar 1.4 does that! I think it has something to do with the limited area in focus for the lens at any aperture.

Nice photo. This is why I love the helios 44, I've got three atm, alas one is a scrapper, someone in the motherland wrecked it, but the 44-M4 and 44-M both work wonderfully! I intend to collect more! ^_^

try some of their nikon mount lenses. they are total gems and utterly forgotten on ebay so can be picked up for very small sums!

Another convert! I hope you enjoy using the mum's zenit, they're basic cameras but very capable, built like tanks too so won't let you down as readily as some modern tech.
