I really like the DOF. Crispness on the back of the ladies and special softness on the background. They should make filters that emulate all these films for all us 35mm-phobics!

yeah the dof on medium format cameras seems to be very subtle and much more exciting than regular 35mm. i think it has something to do with the sheer size of the film

i just read somewhere that f3.5 (yashica mat lens) in MF terms is eqv to f2.8 on a regular 35mm in terms of dof nd bokeh. so therefore f2.8 lenses have crazy bokeh similar to that of f1.8/1.4 lenses.
