The image of boats in the canal composes one of my favorite childhood memories. In the afternoon my mother and I would stroll from my uncle's house, where we were staying, to High Street for window and grocery shopping.

I like the contrast of the crisp foreground boat and the foggy background. I wish the distant background faded into deeper fog, but you can't control climate. I agree with one of the previous posters -- would be nice if the foreground boat weren't cropped.
